German toy manufacturer Playmobil will be launching a James Bond tie-in product this year to coincide with the release of the 25th film 'No Time To Die'. The James Bond series focuses on a fictional British Secret Service agent created in 1953 by writer Ian Fleming, who featured him in twelve novels and two short-story collections. Since Fleming's death in 1964, eight other authors have written authorised Bond novels or novelisations: Kingsley Amis, Christopher Wood, John Gardner, Raymond Benson, Sebastian Faulks, Jeffery Deaver, William Boyd and Anthony Horowitz. The latest novel is Forever and a Day by Anthony Horowitz, published in May 2018. Additionally Charlie Higson wrote a series on a young James Bond, and Kate Westbrook wrote three novels based on the diaries of a recurring series character, Moneypenny.

Rumour has it that Playmobil has partnered up with CBS Studios to offer us a new Playmobil 70548 Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 playset that was just revealed in all its geeky glory this week. Playmobil, one of the oldest and most iconic toy brands in the world, pulled out all the stops to offer their first ever "Star Trek'' model bound for our galaxy later this year. The set is slated for release in September 2021.

As you well know by now, one of the new licenses of Playmobil for 2019 and 2020 in addition to Heidi and Back to the Future, is Scooby-Doo, a franchise based around a popular American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. July 2020 will see more sets out of this series available for sale. There will be 6 news sets to collect from Scooby Doo. Many of the sets appear to be themed around movies and episodes, including Shaggy's Showdown, Where's My Mummy?, The Legend of Alice May, A Fit Night Out for Bats, Which Witch is Which?, and Shaggy and Scooby eating dinner. ...

As you all might know by now, Playmobil has secured the worldwide rights for both Scooby-Doo core products and new Scooby-Doo theatrical motion picture products. The movie is set to be released in 2020. You can already buy items from us, here! The first wave of products have already launched in the USA by Walmart, with the rest of the product line launching in spring 2020 and will feature Playmobil figures of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred.
